Learning more about your new (or old) iPad

It’s mid April, a while now since the launch of iPad 2 but still the shortage is everywhere. I’ve seen on twitter that people in Sydney are still calling the local Apple stores in hope of being able to arrive at the correct time to get their hands on an iPad2.

On the day it was launched here in Sydney, I was unlucky to miss out by about 20 people in the queue to get one so, tail between my legs came home an ordered one online. The news was even worse when the confirmation email from Apple arrived – delivery early May.

That’s not where the tale finishes.

The weekend before I’d happily sold my first generation iPad, gathering the funds for the new purchase so now I was (still am) stuck without an iPad at all.

Here’s the really cruel part, Apple then decides to ship my camera connection kit and iPad2 cover as they’re in stock, so now I have a cover and a camera kit that I can’t seem to work out where to plug them in, it’s as if something’s missing.

Anyway to the point.
